The domain name Diablo3.com has been acquired by Blizzard.
The domain Diablo3.com had previously been registered to a fan who, since registering it in 1998, has managed to establish the site as a large community of Diablo lovers.
According to the former Diablo3.com webmaster, Blizzard facilitated the deal in a kind and professional manner.
No info yet as to how much or if their was an exchange of cash involved in this domain transfer.
Blizzard's word is that this is not a confirmation of the development of a new Diablo game, but we're going to go out on a limb and assume it is at least a sign that that is their intention.
